new poem : experiment

1. hypothesis

I would die for you, cabrona, don’t you understand?
I would take you away from here and you would never
see your family again – that is how I love you. I can
give you everything. I can be all that you need. I can
do what others can’t or won’t. You need me –
don’t you know that yet?

2. theory

knees hold my legs down. arms curl down my shoulders,
around my back and to my spine. nails into hips.
hair in my face, lips at my eyes, so angry.
sweat dropping from her forehead,
one at a time, onto my face.
there’s no leaving.
